Wheat Sweep Auger

The Wheat Sweep Auger is designed for residual grain clean-out in wheat silos. Wheat has good self-flowing and rarely forms hard compaction, but during discharge it may develop "bridging" caused by awns interlocking.

For flat bottom silos storing wheat, we recommend selecting either a lightweight sweep auger or a tyre sweep auger based on silo diameter and required capacity. These solutions ensure stable sweeping during the final discharge stage while maintaining low power consumption and smooth operation.

For hopper bottom silos, we provide dedicated hopper silo sweep augers. Due to the influence of hopper angle and wheat flow characteristics, the total discharge capacity is determined by the combined output of the sweep auger and gravity flow through the hopper outlet. The typical capacity range for wheat sweep augers is 50–200 t/h, depending on silo configuration and operating conditions.
