Dust Control Hopper

The dust control hopper is installed at the outlet of discharge chutes, above truck, railcar, vessel, silo, stockpile, or container loading areas. During operation, it consolidates bulk material into a compact, air-free material column, allowing controlled loading while effectively preventing dust generation at the discharge point.

Our dust suppression hopper features higher spring stiffness, allowing smoother capacity transitions when material flow is uneven, resulting in a more stable discharge stream. In addition, a designed clearance between the inner cone and outer hopper shortens the time required for flow stabilization during start-up and ensures faster discharge of residual material at shutdown. This effectively reduces dust generation during both initial feeding and tail material emptying stages.
